How we work
Our process
Five steps. Tap or hover a card to read what happens.
IntakeStep 01
Discovery call
A short call on entity, year of assessment and pressure points. No discovery invoice.
DiligenceStep 02
File review
A partner reads returns, ledgers and systems before anyone quotes a fee.
EngagementStep 03
Scoped proposal
Deliverables, timeline and a fixed or capped fee: agreed up front.
ExecutionStep 04
Delivery & filing
Named team executes. Every statutory return is signed by a qualified signatory.
RetainStep 05
Ongoing counsel
Calendarised deadlines and advisory so planning happens before the deadline.
Who we are
Meet our experts
Our consultancy and taxation practice is led by qualified professionals who still carry the file themselves. Partners and seniors hold CA, CMA, CIMA, CPA and related graduate credentials, so advice is grounded in statutory work, not slide decks.
Across decades of combined experience we have supported Sri Lankan companies and the groups that own them: year-end planning, VAT and PAYE administration, ERP clean-ups, stock counts, and the assessments nobody enjoys opening.
Our approach
A partner reads your position before anyone quotes a fee. Scope is written, ownership is named, and every return that leaves us carries a qualified signatory. Planning sits in the diary before year end, not after the assessment lands.
What you can expect
Clear calendars, plain-language recommendations, and hands-on delivery when the work needs someone on the floor. We combine tax, accounting and advisory in one room so nothing has to be explained twice, and bad news is carried early.
Certifications & qualifications
How we work
A partner reads your position before anyone quotes a fee.
It is a small thing that changes everything downstream. Scope is set by someone who has seen the file, which is why our fixed fees stay fixed and our estimates rarely need revisiting.
Why choose us: clarity, timing, ownership, sign-off, follow-through.
What we commit to
Undertakings, not testimonials
A partner reads the file before anyone quotes. Scope is written against what has actually been seen, which is why our fixed fees stay fixed.
Notes
Written for finance teams, not for search engines

What changed in this year of assessment
The rate and threshold movements that actually affect a mid-sized company, without the commentary.
Read
Your chart of accounts is the problem
Most unbelievable management accounts trace back to a structure nobody has revisited since incorporation.
Read
Objecting to an assessment, properly
The window is short, the format matters, and the grounds you state first are the ones you are held to.

Regularly. A large part of the practice is foreign parents with a Sri Lankan subsidiary, or businesses about to establish one. We handle entity structure, registration, exchange control approvals and the first year of compliance, and we report in a format your group finance team can consolidate without translation.
Fixed wherever the work can be scoped: annual compliance, monthly bookkeeping, statutory accounts and most ERP implementations are quoted as a fixed fee. Genuinely open-ended work such as an assessment appeal is hourly, but always with an estimate and a cap agreed before we start.
Yes, and it is common. We ask for the prior year computation, the trial balance and access to the filing history, then produce a short written position on what we have inherited before doing anything else. Any inconsistency we find gets flagged to you in writing, whether or not it is convenient.
No, and deliberately. We prepare, we advise and we liaise with your auditors, but we do not sign the audit opinion on accounts we have compiled. Where you need an audit we will introduce two or three firms and step back from the appointment.
Within the objection window, always. Send it the day it arrives: the statutory time limits are short and the single most common reason an objection fails is that it was lodged late rather than that it was wrong.
A named qualified signatory. Every corporate income tax return, VAT filing and statutory set of accounts that leaves us carries a partner or director signature, not a generic practice stamp.
Both. We run readiness assessments, chart-of-accounts redesign, migration with a parallel close, and post-go-live support through the first month-ends. We are vendor-agnostic and will say plainly when software is not the real problem.
Yes. We run payroll assignments end to end, including statutory remittances, and we can also supervise payroll that already sits with another provider.
Nothing. Thirty minutes with a partner, no fee, and an honest answer on whether we are the right practice for the work, including when we think you should go elsewhere.
